ABOUT ABOUT

SBN is hosting a MEMBERS-ONLY listening session with representatives from Rebuild Philadelphia to discuss opportunities and resources for local businesses interested in connecting with the program's investments.

Funded in part by the Philadelphia Beverage Tax, Rebuilding Community Infrastructure (Rebuild) is a seven-year, $500 million investment in Philadelphia's neighborhood parks, libraries, recreation centers, and playgrounds with the goals of promoting equity and encouraging economic growth across the city.

Expanding economic opportunity is a key goal of Rebuild. The program is committed to supporting the growth of businesses, especially those that have been traditionally under-represented on city contracts, and has declared that every contract will have ambitious goals for the participation of minority- and women-owned companies. Additionally, investments will be made to develop resources that address common challenges for business participation on government contracts, including affordable access to capital as well as bonding and insurance support.

This is a free listening session for SBN members to learn more about ‒ and offer feedback on ‒ the contracting opportunities, participation goals, and resources that will be made available to local businesses through Rebuild.

IMPORTANT: LOCATION CHANGE! This program will be held in the Skyline Room on the 4th Floor of the Free Library at 1901 Vine Street in Philadelphia.

Doors will open at 8:30 for networking and refreshments (coffee and a light breakast). The program will begin promptly at 9:00AM.
