The Entrepreneurs' Roundtable returns on March 15. This exclusive opportunity for SBN members provides access to the region’s leading policymakers for dialogue on issues relevant to the local economy and mission-driven businesses. This year's program series promises to be an affair you are not going to want to miss!
To kickoff 2017, the Roundtable will host Councilman Allan Domb for a discussion on Retaining Entrepreneurs and Accelerating Growth.
Councilman Domb has a unique perspective on the difficulties of building a business in Philadelphia. Beginning in 1980, he has worked to createthe city's leading condominium brokerage firm. His election to City Council in 2015 was heralded as the ushering in of a new era of public policy within City Hall, as someone who had the business experience to bring innovative, market-savvy solutions to the city's economic problems.
He has committed to lowering the tax rate, increasing graduation rates, and promoting job growth through the retention of existing business and creation of new ventures by further attracting millennial in the tech and manufacturing industries to Philadelphia.
The program will start with a light breakfast and networking, feature an hour of moderated conversation between member businesses and the commerce director, and conclude with half an hour of general Q & A.
