Our seasonal menu, brought to you by SBN Member Cosmic Catering, will delight meat eaters, vegans and vegetarians! Kale pesto, roasted vegetables, turkey sweet and sour meatballs, vegan spinach patties, assorted Italian meats, Michele's Tofu Tahini Carrot spread, and much more will be available to satisfy any type of diet. Plus – we’ll be serving the region’s best desserts from John & Kira’s Chocolates and Little Baby’s Ice Cream.
Libations Produced 1-30 miles from the Venue
It doesn’t get more local than this – our open bar selection will serve alcohol produced within 30 miles of the venue! Enjoy many award winning, locally produced, ales and spirits by SBN Members Philadelphia Distilling Company, Yards Brewing Company and Philadelphia Brewing Company. Other brews, provided by Philly Fair Trade Roasters and Random Tea Room and Curiosity shop, will be available to indulge as well.
Dance and Capture the Memories
Fusco Sound Productions will be on hand spinning our favorite genres from Funk, Go-Go, 80’s, and today’s hits to keep you moving all night long. Plus, Poseybooth will be on site with a digital photo booth and living back drop! Photos taken will be digitally sent to your phone or email for easy sharing in the most sustainable fashion.
Discover a Hidden Gem
The German Society of Pennsylvania is the oldest German organization of its kind in the US. The location on 611 Spring Garden Street, was constructed in 1888 as a gather place for German community with a robust Library (some books originating from 1783) which includes the first Bible printed in any European language in the US. The Women’s Auxiliary movement was founded in 1900 via the German Society of Pennsylvania to focus on charitable deeds and the preservation of cultural values in the community – very similar to SBN’s mission today.
